Our services include

X-Ray & Digital X-Ray

Digital radiography is an advanced form of X-ray imaging that uses digital sensors instead of traditional photographic film. This method improves time efficiency by eliminating the need for chemical processing, while also enabling immediate image preview, digital transfer, and enhancement for clearer diagnostics.

X-rays, which are highly penetrating ionizing radiations, are commonly used to assess fractures in bones and teeth, as well as detect changes in the lungs. By using injectable radio-opaque contrast media, such as barium, X-rays can also visualize the structure of the stomach and intestines, aiding in the diagnosis of conditions like ulcers or certain types of colon cancer.

ECHO & ECG & ETT

An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple test that records your heart’s rhythm and electrical activity using sensors attached to the skin. The results help doctors identify any abnormalities.

The Exercise Tolerance Test (ETT), done on a treadmill or bike, detects early signs of coronary artery disease. While a resting ECG can reveal some heart issues, it may not rule out significant coronary disease on its own.

Echocardiography (ECHO) also supports procedures like mitral valvuloplasty and intracardiac ultrasound. Our facility offers real-time, two-way video links between cardiothoracic operating rooms and the ECHO review room for live guidance.

Angioplasty

Angioplasty is a procedure commonly performed on patients with coronary artery disease, particularly after a heart attack. When fatty plaques block the arteries in the heart, the procedure aims to restore blood flow. A thin tube, called a catheter, is threaded through a blood vessel to the affected artery. At the end of the catheter is a balloon, which is inflated once in place to push the plaque outward, widening the artery and restoring circulation. Often, a stent is also placed to help keep the artery open and reduce the risk of it narrowing again.

Angiography

Coronary angiography is a diagnostic procedure used to identify problems with the coronary arteries. During the procedure, a colorless dye is injected into the arteries through a thin tube, which is passed from the wrist or groin to the heart while X-ray images are taken. This procedure is typically performed on patients with suspected heart conditions to assess whether there is significant narrowing in the coronary arteries, enabling timely and appropriate treatment. The Indo-Pakistani population is known to have one of the highest risks of coronary artery disease (CAD) in the world.
