MAGCON 2026 Officially Inaugurated in a Distinguished Ceremony

Inauguration Ceremony of Magcon 2026

The grand inauguration of MAGCON 2026 was successfully held on 30th of March, 2026 at the Gulab Devi Auditorium, marking the commencement of a landmark three-day academic event from March 30 to April 1, 2026. Cantered around the theme “Bridging Disciplines to Transform and Innovate Healthcare,” the conference stands as a hallmark of academic excellence and collaborative learning, bringing together a diverse spectrum of healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, and students on one dynamic platform.

We were honored by the presence of Prof. Dr Khalid Masud Gondal (President CPSP) as Chief Guest, along with Prof. Dr Hamid Hassan (Chief Executive/MS GDTH & Principal, Al-Aleem Medical College) and Dr Abid Ali (Executive Director GDEC and AAMC), whose leadership continues to strengthen academic and clinical initiatives.

Designed as an interdisciplinary conference within a multidisciplinary hospital environment, MAGCON 2026 reflects a strong commitment to integrated healthcare. The event features active participation from departments of Gulab Devi Teaching Hospital and Al-Aleem Medical College and the Gulab Devi Educational Complex. Major clinical specialties are represented alongside allied health disciplines highlighting a truly collaborative approach to advancing modern healthcare solutions.

With an expected gathering of more than 2,500 participants, including distinguished national and international guests, renowned speakers, expert panelists, clinicians, faculty members, and students, MAGCON 2026 serves as a vibrant forum for intellectual exchange, professional networking, and knowledge sharing. The conference aims to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of healthcare practices both locally and globally.

A key highlight of this year’s conference is the “Gulab Devi Training Village,” an innovative initiative by Gulab Devi Teaching Hospital, featuring pre- and post-conference workshops scheduled from March 11 to April 3, 2026. These workshops are designed to enhance practical skills, promote hands-on learning, and provide participants with valuable opportunities to engage directly with experts in their respective fields.

The scientific program is further enriched by a dedicated Poster Competition and Model Competition, offering young researchers and students a platform to present their ideas, showcase innovation, and receive constructive feedback from an esteemed panel of judges. These initiatives aim to foster a culture of research, critical thinking, and academic excellence within the healthcare community.

In addition to its strong academic foundation, MAGCON 2026 also features active participation from leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies through informative and interactive exhibition stalls. This engagement provides attendees with insights into the latest developments in medical technology, therapeutics, and healthcare solutions, strengthening the link between industry and academia.

MAGCON 2026 is more than just a conference, it is a celebration of knowledge, collaboration, and progress. The inauguration marks the beginning of an impactful journey aimed at transforming healthcare through innovation, education, and unity, further reinforcing the role of Gulab Devi Teaching Hospital as a leading institution for medical education, research, and patient care in Pakistan.
